I've always been fascinated by the incredible rate of growth in tech. Walk into a Best Buy only ten years ago, and you'll walk into a world where all movies are VHS, all televisions are standard definition and none of them widescreen, no flat panels exist, the latest operating system is Windows 3.1, CD-ROM drives are brand-new and too slow to play video without lagging, MP3 players are unheard of, tapes are as popular as CDs, and the dominant videogame consoles are Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis.

But, the Internet existed back then. This is what it looked like, only ten short years ago:
